Sahara Centre partners with Emirates Red Crescent to welcome orphans on World Orphans Day

Sahara Centre, Sharjah’s leading retail, leisure and dining destination, has partnered with Emirates Red Crescent to warmly welcome 30 orphans at the mall on World Orphans Day, which was launched in 2009 to draw attention to the plight of the world’s orphans and fell on 13th November this year. The initiative reflects Sahara Centre’s ongoing efforts to care for its community and support and nurture children in every way possible.

To mark the occasion and actively participate in helping raise awareness for motherless and fatherless children worldwide, Sahara Centre invited 30 orphans for a fun-filled day of activities at the mall, including free access to Adventureland, a special lunch, and an exciting array of giveaways and goodies. Adventureland was a highlight of the day, as it offered the children an opportunity to enjoy 17 rides and attractions, as well over 70 video games, with their friends and carers.

Sahara Centre is committed to support the community by organising events that promotes happiness and unity among all segments of society. By recognising orphans on World Orphans Day through a range of fun activities organized for them, Sahara Centre dedicated a day to remember them while also furthering the noble objectives of the UAE’s Year of Giving 2017 and spreading goodwill across Sharjah and the UAE.
